I'm setting up my design standards and can't find information about how things are done.
I'm looking for information about the "Transition Type Equation" - what is this equation and where does it come from?
Also what does the "Centripetal Acceleration" value does?
Any tips on where to look or explaination is welcome.
I just want to make sure that everything is setup the right way and that the results are good, thanks

Have you checked if your standards are already defined in a 'Country Kit'?
Hi Mark and thanks for the reply, I did check the document but unfortunately there is nothing about this equation and the centripedal accelaration. Actualy I just want to know from where the spiral lenght calculated by the standards design come from. We don't use Ashto here but I will try to get a hand on the reference page/chapter to see if it fit.
