Using ORD-CE 2020R1
I've noted that when viewing certain SUE nodes in our 3D model, the bottom element template is not extruding to meet the top element template, as shown in the photo below. Based on advice in past forums, I have verified that our alignment points/lines are of the construction type and line style 3, with the points being weight 30. I have also verified that the alignment points between the top and bottom cell models are coincident and located at 0,0,0 in the cell library. Has anyone else had this issue and managed to fix it?
I believe I saw it when the structure was not properly associated with the top or design surface. I want to warn you I have just started scratching the surface on SUE and my experience is actually from Ss4 SUDA.

So in order to try and pinpoint the problem, I have simplified my solids to slabs. I have also re-built the cell library and re-created the feature definitions/symbology/templates in the drawing file, rather than a dgnlib. This narrows my problem down to either software error, or cell creation error. I am able to get the program to extrude from bottom to top, but it now looks like this. Its almost as if the cross section of the bottom cell that the software is identifying to extrude is incorrect or scaled somehow.
Have you checked the construction class, line style 5 elements in the 3D top and bottom cells? There's a topic in the Subsurface help that describes exactly what construction class graphics the software expects to find.
If they seem to be OK, and you're still having this problem, then please log a service request so that we can look at it for you. Post your DGN, the DGNLib, and the original cell file if you can, so that we can get the extrusion working with your preferred cells.
We can give you a sharefile link if you need it.
