ConceptStation Templates - Two-way Undivided Roadway - Baseline NOT coincident with Double Yellow

Hi there,

It appears as though, on two-way templates with two-way striping patterns, that ConceptStation interprets the the template origin as the separator between opposing traffic (the double yellow).  This causes numerous issues because:

1) Frequently, baselines do not follow pavement markings, but instead follow the roadway centerline. (see screenshot below)

2) The double yellow often does not align through intersections with turn lanes (see screenshot below).  Does each leg of the intersection needs it's own baseline? I can't imagine this would be the intent, as this would mean that a roadway with multiple signalized intersections would have numerous, non-continuous, fragmented baselines.

Is there a way to delineate a different location for the double yellow other than the template origin/roadway baseline?  Note that this link between the roadway baseline location/template origin and direction of travel appears to extend beyond just striping.  When exporting a design to VISSIM, ANY lanes located left of the baseline are considered to be in the opposite direction.  For instance, on a multi-lane divided highway with independent baselines in each direction, the baseline MUST be placed on the far left edge of the roadway; If the baseline is located at any other location, when exporting to VISSIM, the program will assume that the baseline is the divider between opposing traffic.
