Creating Pond with B-spline

Hi

I have been testing b-spline as bottom geometry for a pond, adding vertical geometry and building up with linear template. Using b-spline instead of horizontal geometry ( I am used to use horizontal by the way in my ponds ) gives me sometimes smother more flexiable geometry line and I´m faster to create the pond.

Therefor I wants to ask you about your experiance, what tools are you used to create your ponds with, and are there some unfortunate side effect of using b-spline?

I am using OpenRoads Designer 10.08.00.88
