Hi,

How we can generate Intersecting Alignment Stations report in Open roads Designer Connect.

  • If you would, post a description of your ideal Intersecting Alignment Stations report and why you want it, and I will include that information in the enhancement request.

  • I am not Ilyas, but it would be very helpful, on complicated projects to be able to select one alignment, and get a report of every other alignment that intersects it, with the stations of intersection for both the main (selected) alignment, and the auxilliary (intersecting) alignments.

This would streamline certain plan checking, where a report could be generated, and station intersection equations could be easily confirmed by the reviewer. Currently, they need to go into the drawings themselves and measure the distances or annotate the points themselves to confirm that the labels are correct.

In theory, labels are always generated automatically and so are always correct, but we may not be at that level of workspace completion for some time. And there is always the possibility that somebody will edit the text for whatever unknown reason, and the label will be out of sync. A report like this would streamline this sort of checking.
