I am a Civil3d user and we are now testing Openroads in one of our upcoming projects. I have been watching several trainings regarding template creation and tapers, and my issue is about adding onsite parking. I have a +2.00% slope 2.50x6.50m parallel parking on both sides of the road and it is all throughout the segment . Then it terminates approximately 10m away from the intersection.
My issue is how to create the template so that it recognizes the transition when there is parallel parking.

There are many way to do this, you could add a control point to your corridor to follow your edge of pavement. You could also add a parametric constraint to your corridor and then modify it when you have parking (but it's not as smooth as control point). You could also build yout roads with geometry and projected slope, build a surface of everything then add a surface template to have all your différents road pavement and structure layers, Its all up to how you design.
