Today i have downloaded and updated OpenRoads to Release 2 but i see an error when i try to open it....after hours of downloading/installing. I click on "ignore", yet nothing happens.
Hi,

It's very ad idea to choose Ignore when Exception is displayed. The exception means "something very bad happened internally" and rarely software is able to continue.

Next step would be analyze log and memory dump (both are important). Because it requires software development knowledge, I think Bentley support should be able to do it.

Did you reset upf (all user-specific files in general)?
Also, important information like what dataset do you use, whether you have any custom dgnlib etc. are missing.

i had to finish a project so i removed it and installed release 1 back therefore i don't have the logs anymore. First, update failed so i downloaded the Release 2 installation file from the site and installed it manually. Maybe it would be a good idea to clean whole program from the computer and install it after but it took around 4 hours to download so i didn't spend another 4 just to try it. Well i have no idea about the dataset.

I agree. In last few days, to download installation files has been a nightmare (extremely slow or it failed completely). To create Deployment image upfront sounds like better way, especially when there is an expectation the installation will be repeated.
