I am generating numerous alternatives for a project, some have very similar geometry. Is there a way to copy multiple horizontal geometry from one file or model into another. I see there is a way to do a single element. Merge into master loses all rules
In the geometry menu, under the modify icon there is a command called "Copy Element" with this you can copy alignement between drawing.
Thanks, I have tried that, however I was hoping for a way to do multiple geometry elements at once

Marlow: My Alignment drawings only have the alignment in them. If I want to copy the alignments for another option, I just save as the drawing.

ORD 2022R1
With all the overhead that ORD creates in files, that is usually not recommended, but in this case, it might be the best solution as all of the internal GUID's would be retained.
I would say that extra care must be taken.
For example, never reference the copy to any file using the original as a reference for control.
The only exception might be where you copied alignments DGN and the corridors DGN so you could see the new alignment's effect on its corridors. And even then, I would use the browse to reference file to effectively replace the original alignment DGN file with the copy,
