I am unable to import .LAS file as point clouds in Microstation SS4. Each time it says "Convert Failed". I used to be able to use Data acquisition in previous versions but can't find that tool anymore. Since migrating to ss4, it been confusing on how surface data import works.
I tried using inroads SS4 > terrain model > create from file > then selecting the .las file, but nothing happens.
Not sure if am missing anything in the workflow.
Hello Ekene.Your work flow is correct but may i know which version of LAS you're trying to import?

The LAS is version 1.4.
it was obtained from state spatial data download portal.
Thanks for the update Ekene, currently Microstation doesn't support LAS 1.4.
