Using Trimble GPS survey equipment (TSC7 with trimble access) how should i export the data from the TSC7 for import into Open Roads?
Does the TSC& export to .dc or .job files? I am not a surveyor, but I see those Trimble formats in OpenRoads Designer survey (amongst many others).
yes the TSC7 exports to .dc, .job, jxml, csv. The way i am working now i export to .jxml (xml format) and import this into Trimble Business Center. We also collect attribute values with the points and lines. Trimble business center does not export to dgn.
As I say, I am no surveyor - but . . . In the Survey Workflow in OpenRoads Designer [ORD], you can create a new field book, and then import the data from your .dc or .job file. Assuming you have survey feature definitions set up in ORD to match your 'in the field' codes, you will get the data displayed ready for editing etc..
Thank you for that, it sounds like it works the same as InRoads which i had been using.
