How can I make the channel's complex elements get created on the default 2D plan view ?

Hi, 
 
 A channel complex element from a template/corridor doesn't get created on the default 2D plan view. Other complex elements from the same template/corridor i.e. edges of pavements, sidewalks do appear. The channel's elements only get created on the 3D view. The channel's level indicates that there are no elements in Default 2D plan view. 
 
 How can I make the channel's complex elements get created on the default 2D plan view ?

Identify the feature definition assigned to the template point and then check that the properties of the feature definition have Create Template Geometry set to true
