I have a road improvement project that requires splitting the road into 2 pieces. I am using a single COGO alignment, a COGO profile and a comp section for the design. In the comp section settings I am using the chain option with a station range for each portion of the road and applying it to one of the road objects. The problem I am having is each time I apply a the comp section, the centerline crown element gets removed from one road object and applied to the other. The software doesn't seem to like having 2 crown centerline elements from one chain. Is this a limitation of the software? Please see the screen cap.
