Is it possible to setup element templates per view

Hi,

Is it possible to setup element templates per view i.e. default, plan, profile, cross section ? instead of a general setting for all views.

I want to change the display properties of components in the cross section view/sheet. The component's symbology doesn't allow for setting element templates for the cross section, see image bellow.

I also tried to override the default level colors from the .dgn library on the default model via the level manager but with no success as the saved view and cross section sheet didn't update to the new element/level attributes. This is another challenge as it is unclear from which model reference must element attributes be changed in nested references in order for changes to take effect on the saved view/ cross section sheet.

I even tried to change the view attributes, that didn't work as saved views and cross section sheets keep appearing with the original element attributes. Ignoring the new ones.

I just change the colour used in my Element Template - and it was reflected in drawing and sheet models. Note that this only changing the Element Template in my local file - I should make that change in the DGNLIB for it to be available to all users.

That's a Surface Feature Definition. it's properties are different than linear feature definitions. Cross sections are cut from the 3D model, so the 3D property applies. There are a lot of nuances to Feature Definitions. Look in the Wiki pages or try googling Open Roads Features and you might find a PPTX or PDF that goes into all the details.
