I’m using the “Profile Line From Element”, “Tangent Profile Line From Element” in OpenRoads and looking for an option that I used to use in InRoads SS2. When using this tool, I am prompted for the Start Point along a curve and then ORD calculates the tangent grade for me. In several cases I know what tangent grade I need and want ORD to calculate the start station. I can do the match and calculate the start station by hand to get the desired grade, but is there a way to change the input method to give ORD a grade instead of a Start Point?

I believe the tools you are looking for are called "Profile Line To Element" and "Tangent Profile Line To Element". I know that sounds counter-intuitive (as it did for me too), but I'm pretty sure that's what you want.
