Im trying to use the various Thematic display styles in ORD 2020 r2,
But independent of which stlye i chose i get an output like that
every tri is showing the full range of colors with the first and last 25% being grey.
what am i missing?
This is a known defect (unfortunately, I don't have the number).
The workaround we've found is to close the file, open another file, close that file and reopen the first file. Needless to say, that is a royal pain in the rear. Cross your fingers that they'll have it fixed with the next release.

I've heard that changing to a different view group and back again works as well. I haven't tried it but it's a lot better than my previous suggestion.
thanks, is the defects list published somewhere?
It seems to be the Defect 1079314:[Regression][From Update12]When a terrain has triangulation turned on and thematic height display is applied, then each triangle displays thematic height. Currently it is planned to be investigated for the update 16 of MicroStation and not sure when it will be implemented in ORD.
I've only found this only happens if you edit a Thematic Display Style in a session?

Mark
