OpenRoads ConceptStation changing vertical alignment when placing ramp connection

I've imported a .alg file or .xml into ConceptStation from the geometry from OpenRoads Designer or previous versions, when placed, everything looks perfect, horizontal and vertical.

When designing a ramp connection, the vertical alignment seems so off at other given point, even though the alignments have the same elevation and mostly intersecting (please see attached images).

The problem is not where the ramp is connected as the software creates the intersection and everything, but the rest of the road loses the vertical profile to something way off.

Any thoughts on this problem?

  • Just did, please take a look and try to replicate the issue, I sent you the .alg file, if you open on OpenRoads Designer, you'll see that when importing, the roads don't seem to be correct at some points.

And when you place a Ramp Connection, the rest of the vertical alignment changes altogether.

I just created something out of an old alternative and was testing to see the results, but ConceptStation has to improve a few more features (I'd ask for constraints of the parameters, even if the phasing is at conceptual design).
