Hello,
Is there a way to have a ratio labeled as 2:3 instead of 1:1.5?
When i set the precision to 0 i get 1:2 which is just wrong.
Technically, for a precision of 0, 1:2 is correct for actual ratio of 1:1.5 (standard MicroStation). Is there a reason to want to use a precision of 0, as that will also give 'incorrect' length measurements etc?
I think what you are looking for is a way to force the ratio to be given in whole numbers only - which is not available. The design file setting for ratio is 1:D.
yes, whole numbers only would be what i need. in my region 2:3 is the usual slope for terrain adjustments and it's always labeled as such.
I meant wrong in the sense of i can't use that. i understand that it's correct for a precision of 0.
so in 1:D the d stands for decimals?
D stands for a number e.g. 1.5 (with the given precision). I see what you mean about annotating the slope - I would also do 2:3 rather than 1:1.5, but I do not think there is a way to specify the use of whole numbers only when annotating.

Pitty, do you think that will be possible in the future?
I would advise that you put in a Service Request requesting that functionality - if you don't ask, you will not get!
