InRoads v8i ss2 can you save a template edit from .ird to the .itl?
If you make an edit in the corridor IRD file and it works out well, is there a way to then save it to the ITL file so it can be used again elsewhere, or do you just have to recreate it in the ITL?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Michael
Yes, you will utilize the Template Library Organizer under the Create Template dialog to copy from the IRD to the ITL. In Create Template, go to Tools > Template Library Organizer and you can browse to the IRD with the saved edited template and drag it into the ITL to copy the template to the Template Library. This process is detailed at the following WIKI:

Be aware that it may not be as easy as that example shows to pick out the template you want. I like to keep my template library pretty basic, so I make most template changes in the roadway definition.
The Template Library Organizer lists the templates by original template name and the date/time it was last edited. It sorts them alphabetically and by date. When you have a lot of template drops it can be a real challenge to find the one you want. The change may be too subtle for the preview to show. You may have to make an edit to that template drop, save the file, undo the edit and save the file again in order to confidently pick that template reliably the first time.
Thanks Ray - I appreciate the response and the heads up. Have a good week, Michael
