Getting Error while annotating a Cross Section

What software are you using?

I have never seen that error. How are you trying to annotate the cross sections? Have you tried using an input file to do the annotation? I am assuming that you have the cross section sets in a model.

I am using graphical method for annotation. Can you help me with input file? My section are in Micro station view.

Your sections are stored in a MX model - you may have a representation of them in a MicroStation view.

I am not able to give you a training course in Linemode - but I will point you to the file 'simp105.inp' - stored in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MX V8i (SELECTSeries 4)\MX\MFW\UK_tut' folder on my laptop. Assuming there is a section set called 'R' and another for 'G', the lines from 1288 to 1348 will draw both sections, and annotate them.

You just need to work through each line and read the Hep file for each option to see what is being done.

Below steps always helps my client to resolve the most "unknown" errors.

1. Go to Windows Update (select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & Security   > Windows Update .)and update all the important updates, if you are using Windows 10, update to latest Windows 10 version 2004. Restart if required.
2. Make sure the UAC set to "Never Notify" (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts) - Restart the PC if required.
3. Set your MXROAD icon in Administrator privilege (Right-Click MXROAD icon>Properties>Compatibility>"Run this program as an administrator"), Click OK. 
4. Try to create a new DPW and display the design model only.
5. Try to recreate the X sect.

Please reply if it's works or new errors appear.
