Vertical Profile Table editor

I created a Complex vertical profile that is 6800 feet long.  I created the individual components, curves, lines, etc....  Then combined it

Into a complex profile.  When I try to use the table editor to edit the profile, the editor ignores the vertical curves and associated VPI’s

See graphic below.  The preview shows a  straight dashed line from the PVC to the PVT, eliminating the PI and curve if I hit apply.    

If I drop and re-complex the vertical alignment, I get the same result.   The editor seems to work ok on shorter alignments.  Any ideas?
