Is there a way in Open Roads designer to show drainage structures or utilities (gas, electric, etc) in cross sections?
If they are attached to the design model of the cross section sheet drawing they should show up automatically. That said, I don't know if there are additional feature settings that need to be completed to determine HOW they would show through.

Andrew:
Part and parcel of ORD utilities creation is the additonal creation of 3D solids from utilities data. ORD slices anything which is a solid and projects these solids onto the cross sections; that is, if you have a referenced 3D model, then ORD will slice the model whenever it "sees" a solid. This process also works for non-utilities solids as well.

They need to be referenced into the 3D model of the active file. When you reference into the 2D model another 2d default model, Openroads adds the 3D reference into the 3D model as well. If you reference the 3d model into the 2d active model it won't. In summary, anything and everything referenced into the 3d model and turned on will show up in x-sections. I highly recommend reviewing the 3D model to verify all elements you want to see. Even 2d elements, which will show up at 0 elevation.
Mary B : Is OpenRoads Designer/PowerInroads or Geopak SS4 able to display the drainage features (GDF file) that are done in Geopak Drainage (the old Geopak)?
