Am facing bit issue with editing my terrain where triangulation vertex picked up Null level (See screenshot below). Vertex at a null level is not getting deleted. Could you please suggest how to delete that vertex at null point/spike.
The software which am using: ORD 2019 release 2 10.07
Thanks for the help which you guys can gove on this. !!
Chetan - are you trying to delete the point in the rotated view? It should work in a plan view.
As it is a 'null' level, is the original data from MX? If so, when creating the terrain, you can use 'Elevation Exclusions' to have ORD ignore levels such as z=-999.
Hi Mark.
Thank you so much for your quick response.
I tried in plan view also, the thing is, I can remove all other vertex but not the null level/spike which you saw in the screenshot. ! Worried!
The Data is not from MX. Am trying to create from actual topo (dgn).
Chetan - you can use 'Elevation Exclusion' on any data, not just MX data. My post (now that I re-read it) implies MX data but it can be any data.
[I think MX is the only application that uses the term 'null levels' - but happy to be proved wrong!]
Thanks again Mark.
It's working.
Again, sorry to bother you, shall I know why that Vertex is not getting deleted? Is there any particular command I need to use to delete 0 levels once after creating terrain..?
The delete vertex command should work - I do not know why that one is not. You should log a Service Request so that this can be investigated.
