Hi!
I have looked on the video Create XS Sheet with End Area Volumes Annotation on the Wiki-page and I have some questions.
I have now done a little test-project with rock. How do I get that value to show in the table in the cross sections? And all components for the road we could get in the table i SS4, I don´t see any Annotation Definitions for them?
I have run the Create Cut Fill Volumes and get meshes for fill, cut(earthwork) and rock (as substrata).
Picture from SS4:(excuse some text in swedish)
Regards Håkan
As quickly mentioned in the video, there is a cell that contains text values. The XML snippets from the End Area Report are stored with the Named Boundaries, and are written to the cell with the Annotation Group.
Have you watched this video? - https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/41680/video-earthwork-xs-sheet-annotation
This one is more of an overview. https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/w/road_and_site_design__wiki/42992/video-create-xs-sheets-with-end-area-volumes-annotation
EDIT - However, the Text Favorite dialog does not allow you to select any component end areas/volumes.
Thanks for the reply, Mark. I have watched the videos but I was looking for a way to add component end area/volumes which you have answered. Is there any other solution that will add the component end area to the cross section sheets? Besides manual edit.
Sean - not that I know of. If I find a way, I will post the solution.
Mark, by any chanace you found a way to annotate other component area on XS, or at least these elements that affect cut/fill volume, eg excavating in substrata (rock), removing unsuitable materials, etc?
Thanks in advance
Best,
Adam
