Thanks I was able to figure this out. You are right about the preview. My issue was that a column had the same name such as CL, CL, CL and I had to allow ORD to overwrite with a new a name such as CL1, CL2, CL3.

For me, after processing the data, it still brought in all the points. The "30" shown were just a preview to get the columns designated, a preview only. It should still bring in you 279 points if you go through the steps.

Im having the same issue. Has a solution been found? Only 30 points are imported but I have 279 to import.

I have had these troubles before as well as I usually check to make sure all of my data points are coming in correctly when I use the text import wizard. I believe that it would be helpful if there was some place on that preview window that explains that it is only a preview window and not all points may be included.

The wizard may only import 30 lines in the preview, but once accepted, if the wizard is properly setup, it should bring in all the data. Have you moved on in the process and seen the actual import only read 30 lines?

Are you using Geopak, InRoads or MX? That could affect the answer
