You may also be able to find information about what you are trying to do by Googling "How to Import ASCII survey data into Geopak" and checking out some of the links from the DOTs that come up. A number of them have training of some sort about this topic, and the information may be useful.

I believe that if you select the "More" link near the bottom of your post, you can find an option to Move your post over to that forum.

You also may need to read through the Geopak Help file to see what formats are and are not allowed for point numbers, linking codes, etc.
