Hi. I have a rfa file that includes 6 traffic signs 3D, it has been created in Revit:
but when I open or reference it with OpenRoads, graphically I only see a traffic sign, the one that is active in Revit:
there are 6 signals but I only see 1:
CC_Señal_Peligro.rfa
I am attaching the rfa file and please tell me how I can select the rest of the signals. Thank you!
You have to Import the RFA not attatch it
,
when selecting the panel, you can change the different type by selecting the property:
I have try it with your file and it's working fine
Hi. This is perfect !! just one question: how can I export these signals to IFC format in OpenRoads? do I need to do it from OpenBuilding? Thank you!
Hi I have similar problem - IFC without colours. Do you know some more info how to fix it? Our clieant is very nervous and he wants ifc with coulours...
Hi. Created the IFC in OPenBUilding, I have referenced it in OpenRoad and the result is still WITHOUT color:
I have tried with other viewers, like BIMCollab, and the result is still the same:
I have also tried making the sign in Open Building and assigning the image.jpg of the traffic sign as material, but the result is still the same: gray color
please, can you help me? thank you very much!!
I want to try it wirh using OpenBuilding today. Maybe we should try itwin synchroniser? I heard that can help...
Unfortunately, I agree - no colours at all. Bentley really have to do something
Have you seen the following - https://forums.buildingsmart.org/t/where-and-how-will-my-colors-be-saved-in-ifc/1806
I am not an IFC expert, but are you sure it is a Bentley issue, or the ifc viewer issue? Just curious.
Hi Mark, I will read this article again - even I found it before. I tried out many option and now I thing it is issue on OpenRoads side... If you will tell me how I can upload an output ifc file which has 90 MB.... I am also comunicate with BIMVision manufacturer
The IFC file is not going to be of any use to me - as I said, I am not an IFC expert. I would recommend creating a service request with Technical Support - that is the best way to get your issue logged and reviewed.
Hi I did a SR and it was defect filed
Hi Jiri, an IFC is essentially a text file so try compressing it as a ZIP and you will see its size dramatically reducce.

Mark
