Openroads Designer Connect Edition- How to adjust invert elevations

I have an issue where the thickness of my typical section has changed and would like to adjust all my inlets on my project making them 6 inches deeper. is there a way to quickly do this? I have tried editing them one at time in the flex tables and in each inlet properties as well, but when i adjust the invert in either way the inlet then becomes dashed and yellow in plan view.

  • Hello Michael.  There are pipes connected to these inlets, correct?  For the pipe properties, is "Set Invert to Start" and "Set Invert to Stop" set to True or False?  If false, then your pipe inverts will not be affected by the inlet invert changes and you'll still have cover problems.  I have not tried this, but maybe you can revise your Design Alternative by increasing the Minimum Cover constraint for the relevant structures, with Design Start Invert and Design Stop Invert enabled but with Design Conduit disabled, and then run a Compute Network using Calculation Type set to "Design".  Using the Design Alternative rather than the Default Design Constrains will allow you to apply different cover requirements for different selection sets rather than one constraint being applied globally.  Be sure to archive your original design and experiment with copies.  Let us know how it goes.
