Hallo,
I'm looking for a way to replace a annotation group on a created profile with anoter annotation group or to add a annotation to a profile created without the annotation, but I havn't found a way to do it (without deleting and recreating the profile). How can I do it?
Second I want to create slope hatches in my imported data, but can't find a command for it. Since the slope hatch may be between different kinds of lines an assignment of a pattern to a special feature type (like a edge of slope) isn't possible. I miss the "Draw slope hatch" from InRoads. What's the way to solve it in ORD?
I'm using the ORD 10.08.01.33.
Kind regards
Steffen Roemer
am I the only one to search this functions. Is ther nobody with a comment?
What's with you Bentley guys?
Also my questions from last years september/october no one answered. Does anyone work with ORD? And what and how does you using it?
Hello, Steffen,
On the first issue, each element can be"decorated" based on it feature definition. You have there a field where you can assign a annotation group forthis particular feature (i.e. the vertical rotulation of the main line).
You can define multiple annotation groups that you select on the Drawing Production tab->Model annotation. There, you are prompted to select a annotation group based on all model, In each annotation group you have to specify the feature definitions that will be annotated in this group.
This video can be helpfull:

On the second issue, you can see this video:

Here you have document (pdf) that explain how to decorate with cells:

here you will find a bunch of issues you can find in the process:

Hope it helps.
Hi Steffen,
For the Profile, you can simple use the "Remove Model Annotation" tool to clear it's Annotation Group and then use "Model Annotation" to annotate using another Annotation Group. Make sure you are in a Profile Drawing model for it to work.

Hi Mark,
I didn't think of the Annotation commands. I will try it and think it will work.
Now I have to find out how to annotate a profile with 3 grid annotatiuons for 3 different surfaces.
Thank you and best regards
Hallo Francisco,
thank you for your hints. I'm sorry, but the video and also the discussions are all crap to me. I'm a surveyor, I collect data and create models of the existing surface. I don't work with perfect modeled corridors like the discussion members, so I don't have fixed features for the two sides of the slope. In my models the slope can be between all kinds of linear features, if I would add them all to a annotation group list the short version is "*". My slope hatches are simply to draw between two breaklines - and often not all along the lines but only parts of it. So I need a command like"Select first line, Select second line, Select reference line, Select startpoint, Select endpoint". If anyone needs an example, start InRoads and call "Drawing->Create Slope Hatch". That's simpy what I want to have again. The annotation group isn't flexible enough for Surveyors.
