Hi,
I asked before if it is possible to create color coded elevation in ORD. It was suggested to use the Display Style as Thematic.Height, which works quite good, but in PowerCivil I was also able to export the file as a dwg. I wonder if there is another workaround this.
Thank you
Not for now. I often need to prepare milling plans. and still in ORD I need to export delta terrain to dtm and use Inroads SS2 tool for CAD graphic and reporting (milling depth range - area).

That is so annoying. So far I am doing the same thing, but I really hope they will fix it soon and add that option.
Hi, anyone is aware if there is or will be a way to get thematic display dropped to the permanent graphic, export to the dwg, etc? I am fed up with going back to SS2 tools here, or exporting Terrains to the XML and having task done with Civil 3D. Not mentioning I need to be able to report areas of milling depending on the depth of milling. Easy to be done with SS2, no way in Connect Edition.
I'd also like to know. However, in a way, it's refreshing to use InRoads every now and then. It's just so... quick, reliable, and capable. I use InRoads often to display existing ground contours with dumb graphics because it's unreasonably slow to display contours in ORD. Isopach surfaces are also infinitely easier. Manual terrain editing too.I think it's silly for people to pretend that InRoads is off-limits. If it's easier to do a task in InRoads (or if the equivalent doesn't exist in ORD), then by all means do it in InRoads.
Bumping this topic as it is relevant to what I am doing, I don't believe there is a tool that will create coloured shapes so that we can dumb it down and not have it linked to a triangulation. This will certainly help when exporting a DGN or DWG.
Has anyone figured out a way to do this yet? Any help would be appreciated.
