This is how we intend on using InRoads V8i (SS2) until we can start all new projects in OpenRoads Designer (ORD).

On a computer with no Bentley V8i software:
Make sure CONNECTION Client - version 10.00.19.31 (latest version) is installed/configured - and you are logged in
Install the Bentley prerequisite pack, version 08.11.09.03
Install MicroStation V8i (SS10) - version 08.11.09.919 (latest version)
Install InRoads V8i (SS2) - version 08.11.07.615 (this version is on SELECT Server license through the end of the year)
InRoads V8i (SS2) will have to use "node locked" license after 12/31/2020

We have no problems installing and running these programs on Windows 10 "2004" (x64)
We are testing this configuration to see if anything breaks... everything is working "as expected" - so far

Don't forget to modify the InRoads V8i (SS2) command line:
Target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\InRoads Group V8.11\bin\InRoads.exe" -wsLoad_InRoads_SS2=1

It's been my experience that IR SS2 is not compatible with MSTN SS10. IR SS2 does not see a compatible microstation product installed during its installation.
