As things get more and more connected, I get asked to create SHP files to send to partners on projects. In the past, Bentley Map was included in the Civil software, and I was able to create the SHP file without too much trouble.
ORD does not appear to have Bentley Map.Why? It was included in the previous Civil software, so why not the new and improved version?Are we going to have SHP Export capacity at any point?
I don't really need full GIS capability, but I do need the ability to give the clients/partners what they request.
What is the timetable for incorporating Map capability into ORD?Or is this yet another reason to keep the old software around?

Totally agree MaryB can someone from Bentley please respond to this post seeing our ideas forum has now been shut down which I found very disappointing..

It is already in the backlog: Enhancement 914965: get back GIS Bentley Map capabilities into ORD. I had this post in the requestor list.
