In my efforts to create a quick guide to Civil AccuDraw for our users, I found myself also learning how many of its settings works, something that I know is necessary, but as a CAD Manager, I don't get a lot of Hands-On time with the newer tools.
So once I felt I was done with the Horizontal/Plan version of its tools, I moved on to Vertical/Profile tools and found that I get no response to any of the keyboard shortcuts. The characters I press simply end up in the Accudraw field that has focus as input. And Spacebar reopens regular AccuDraw even if I had closed it with a Q.
Am I doing something wrong?
Here's a video of me using some of the shortcuts in the profile model with civil accudraw.
Have you tried recreating the upf file located here: C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Bentley\PowerInRoads\8.11. Try this to see if you can use the shortcuts in the profile.

I figured one thing out - The Station field is off limits to shortcut keys, but the other ordinate field accepts shortcut keys. So there is a Z, Delta Z, Profile Offset and Slope field, depending upon the Vertical Civil AccuDraw Tool in use and these will accept the shortcut keys. I guess the idea is that since a profile view is captive to its parent horizontal element, the Station field is very different that a horizontal station field..
