Hey
Have a client who is having crashing issues with his OpenRoads. I don't know the terminology of anything in this program but he has the roads drawn out and when he selects the handle to open it up, OR crashes.
Log file below.
I've updated the graphics driver to the latest Quadro version. I updated the rest of the drivers as well. I don't think it's that at all. i think its whatever he has installed on it.
We have OR installed on pretty much the same spec'd machine, and it's fine doing whatever he needs to do so it's clearly his machine but i can't make sense of this error log.
I attached the log as well for easier readingOpenRoads exception.txt
Sweet thanks for the reply. I will put that on my list to do on Monday and will reply back if it works or not.
this guy tinkers with stuff. The other machine is a community type machine for people to come on and use an older version of Microstation and when time permits, train others on OR.
I’ll post a reply as soon as I can.
Hi Michael,
I'm thinking their preferences may be corrupted. All you need to do is delete the prefs folder in the users local ORD appdata folder and it will create a fresh version next time they start an ORD session.

Yes. They only have 1 license at the moment so have to sign out and sign in and they are working deals for a few big road jobs so probably will be getting another license or two
Was the user with the issue signed-in on the other machine?

Hey thanks for replying. Same file on another machine works perfectly. Happens on every file he does the handle selection.
I don’t know the structure of how OR does things and plugins and What not. So I know it’s his install causing things to break and not work and all.
I didn’t know if someone could review the log file I uploaded to see what’s possibly causing the issue.
