[ORD] Default Survey display of Setups and Observations

It might be possible to control this by changing survey settings in your seed file. If you're just worried about whether or not it is displayed, then another option might be creating/editing element templates and assigning them to your observations/setups. If neither of these work, this would be a good enhancement.

If you set the element templates in the Survey Settings dgnlib to None for Traverses and Observations they won't display when importing survey data, but you can't make them display later either.

I was hoping for a way to set the default on/off display property.  Perhaps I'll submit an enhancement request.

Is there an update on this enhancement by chance?  We are starting to Beta CONNECT ORD and where as in SS4 our surveyor has been able to turn off observations using "Off By Element" and turning the level off but now in ORD it doesn't come in on a level so therefore can't be controlled in the same way now.  Is it possible I missed something in my workspace setup where I didn't assign a level??

In SS4/10 and ORD, these are defined in the Project Explorer as part of the Survey Project Settings Properties. This shows the ORD dialog.

Note that these are pointing at element templates. we store these in the same dgnlib file that stores the Survey Project Settings.
