Is there any way to analysis a Cross section view like in Geopak where you could us the cross section laborer.
I would like to click between to points on a cross section view and have it tell me the slope between those to points.
For example, I want to know the slope between the two red lines on the Cross section view of an entrance civil cell that has been added to the model. with out having to open a profile of the entrance centerline
You can place temporary dimension lines by right clicking in the dynamic cross section view. here is a video to review the process

That's just a horizontal (or vertical) dimension? What about slope values?Yes, I know we can use a calculator. I was hoping that this advanced software would allow us to query more than a single type of measurement. Slopes are important in section.

You should get the slope values too and you could also dimension vertically as well.
Using temporary dimension lines may work if I was tying to get the slop on the original corridor design but what I am trying to get is the slope of a line on the entrance that was placed by civil cell and is clipping out the original corridor. When I use that Temporary dimension line it only wants to work with the original XS template.
Was that a 3D civil cell or are you trying to build the 3D of said civil cell? If you already have the 3D and just need to "get the slope", you can analyze any location/surface you have in the file... Just use the analyze point tool (under Analysis and Reporting task) and select the 3D component and then see dialog or cursor popup in the 2D view. You can also use CivilAcudraw to lock to a sta/offset.
