What is the workflow to create a user-defined custom parameter (e.g. a classification code Omniclass, Uniformat, MasterFormat) into OpenRoads Designer elements?
Either element-specific or global parameter, is there a way to generate and link the information by attribute? I've been looking for Item Types with Lookup Tables and Expressions, but don't know if this will work smoothly.
Later on, I'd have to export the model (e.g. iModel, IFC) to link in Synchro Pro or an Excel spreadsheet.
Hi Kim, I think item types would be best suited for any user-defined parameters.
They are also nicely integrated with reporting functionality, with reports that can be later exported to Excel or placed in the drawing as a table.
