Hello,
I am still new to Openroads software , I was trying to find out what is the way to show the Profile Annotation such as (Curve,K Values,Grades..etc). From what I understood that I should use Place Named Boundary but everytime but the create drawing windows doesn't show up and I got message that Group is not found. Please advise
Place Named Boundary defines what you are putting on the drawing i.e. what area/chainage limits. It does not define the annotation.
Taking the feature definition 'Geom_Baseline' as an example, it uses 'Feature Symbology > Profile > Geom_Baseline' to set the annotation group to 'Profile Annotation' - this group annotates the grades etc.
Please have a look at the Civil Wiki

Thanks for your reply. So based on this , to display the annotation no need do place named boundary. But when I do Element Annotation/Model Annotation for the profile no annotation is shown in the profile.
Do you have the 'Create Drawing' check box turned on when creating the Named Boundaries
Check what Named Boundaries you have already created. Open the Named Boundary dialog as shown in the image - NBs will be listed in green boxed area. If there are NBs there, the icons on the top will be activated - and you can create your drawing.
What are the groups PA12-D6 and PA12-D02 supposed to represent?
below.
It suppose to present the profile group. It is also the alignment nameNow when I clicked on the Show the Create Drawing Dialog , I received the same message (Group PA12-D02 not found)
Have you deleted anything since you created the Named Boundary? Saved Views? It may be easiest to start from the beginning again with a new Named Boundary.
I did it in a new file and started from beginning , I am not sure if I missed any steps or any files is missing
I could not agree more. Especially since the software already knows the K value, Begin and End curve Stations, Length, etc. It is absurd that this information cannot be displayed/viewed as a default setting when the Profile view is created. If you polled 100 real-world designers/users, I would be surprised if even one single vote would be in favor of the requirement that users have to create, view, and annotate another separate model just to see the Vertical Design data. So frustrating for new users like myself....
