Hello,
I am running Openroads Designer and using my client's workspace (CDOT) built for ORD. I am having an issue creating a profile view, when my geometry is in a reference file.
I pick my horizontal file, then open a view, and my elevation comes up at zero elevation, no profile or existing terrain data shown.
If I am in the file with horizontal and vertical geometry in it, not a reference file, this works fine. I have tried the same files (geometry and terrain) using a different workspace, for example “Imperial Standards” that comes with the software, and everything works fine. Could there be something in my client's workspace that is causing this not to work? This is causing issues with Corridor Modeling and Plan and Profile production.
Has anyone had issues with this?
Thank you,
Ryan Hanson
right?!! that's exactly how I felt.
Wow, thank you. That worked, and I can't believe that was the issue.
this helped in my case. seems weird that the levels were turned off, but alas they were. I like simple solutions.
Maybe you should simply activate the terrain model. When I forget it my profile view looks like yours.
Check the levels for the profile view and make sure they are turned on.
