Using "open road designer" and "Open bridge modeler", we completed a 3-D model of an interchange (geometry, corridors, terrain, bridges, etc.).
We tried but could not integrate the backgound maps (Microsoft Bing maps) into our 3-D model.
How can we do it ?
Is there a training, a document or a video, we could follow ?
Thanks.
Hi,
You need to have a Geographic Coordinate System attached to the 3d view to be able to attach Bing Maps to your DGN.
You need to go to the Geographic Coordinate System Tool, which can be found on the Utilities TAB and pick a coordinate system suitable for your location

Does the model have a Geographic Coordinate System assigned?
Thanks Mr. Pegg and Mr. Marnell.
The bing map (background) is loaded to the model. However, I can not proceed to integrate the background or the proper part of the backgroun map to the 3D model.
I need to see it in the 3D model and after that export it to reality model (LumenRT).
Thanks for your assistance.
