Hello
In Inroads when calculating volumes (from Cross sections) there was an option to compute Unsuitable Materials by Feature. You could specify a thickness for each material that had to be removed
Example was could be
Topsoil strip 200mm
Asphalt strip 100mm in one area and
Asphalt strip 150mm in another area
Peat strip 1200mm
etc.
Any help with setting this up would be great.

In ORD you would use surface templates with components of given thickness as unsuitable materials. If this is what you are asking for.. only frome the post title I can see that you are seeking for similar functionalities between Inroads and ORD.
