I'm trying to make a pond, from the superior edge to down edge. I make the superior edge and give elevation, but when I execute the command with slope option to elevation or for vertical distance, that work only outside to the edge of the pond, not work inside.
Can you help me please.

As show in the adjunt picture, when I try to create the line with the elevation 3498 inside the pond, don't work. Nothing is shown or create. If I create this line outside the pond, work ok (red segment line)
Is the starting element a shape? I would recommend making those linestrings (leave a small gap between start and end points) and setting your slope direction left or right of the direction that linestring was constructed. When you go to triangulate those for a final pond surface the gap will fill in. Also open your starting element in a profile view to ensure it has an active profile throughout the desired range.
