Is it possible to import a CSV file with point name, northing, easting, elevation, code, description. I am looking to have the description in a separate column from the field code.
Using the Text Import Wizard, you can set the format as follows: (I am not a surveyor, so I am only guessing that 'Note' = 'Description')
Thanks Mark. I tried that and the data came in. However, when I look at the detail list for the download the "Note" did not come in as a description.
Chris, did you ever figure out how to get the Notes to appear? ... and what exactly is the "Description" in the Survey Details window in ORD Survey? I'm not using a CSV file and the TIW, but I can't get the Notes from my RW5 to appear in the Survey Details ... assuming that NOTES = DESCRIPTION.
Hello Mark. Do you have a sample of the RW5 file you could provide?
Sure, here's a snippet: (It's just a short traverse)

I think your having a similar issue as Chris above. Check the project survey settings. I've clipped a few to show different results.
Scenario 1:
Scenario 2:
Processing raw data is a little different than importing ascii data. Hope that helps.
