Inroads SS10 - Surface Creation - Void drape Removes surface

Question

I am trying do a parking lot surface. As a preliminary am putting Islands into void. There are Two Islands in the surface. When i add them tosurface as Void drape features, they take off the entire surface. 
 I am using Inroads SS10. I am creating surface using Civil tools .

 Adding the shown two islands remove the entire surface. Other islands work fine

Is your boundary a Drape Boundary? I found an old defect logged against SS4 (likely carried forward to SS10) which was an issue with adding drape voids if you have a drape boundary defined for the terrain. If you try to add a regular void, it works ok but you lose the ability for it to pick up the elevations of a terrain by draping it.
