When I "open" a file, CFM will analyze that file for attachments and then it will analyze each of those attachments for more attachments.

And god knows how long it will take to process the rather immense network of files it'll be converting (if it works at all, because the network of files is so large), and not all of those are mine to play with.

If it's possible to assign a destination folder, I don't know how. I've seen where I can "open" (select as the primary file to be converted) a folder which I presume will include all DGN files within that folder, but I saw no option to specify where to put the files afterward.

RE: Geopak SS10 -> ORD migration: Civil File Manager processing order and update list paring

I thought is allowed you to select a destination folder, so any files you do not own, will still exist in their original location.

If it doesn't, you could copy all files to a scratch folder and work on them there and that way, you can decide which version of any files you work with and which are retained in their original location and version.

RE: Geopak SS10 -> ORD migration: Civil File Manager processing order and update list paring

Thank you for confirming my suspicion, Kiran.

RE: Geopak SS10 -> ORD migration: Civil File Manager processing order and update list paring

Derek,
