I am new to ORD, so I hope it is something simple, but I do not see any warnings or errors on vertical alignment/profiles?
I can clearly see the warnings for Horizontal Alignments after applying a Design Standard, but we get nothing similar in the Profile view - even when we reduce a 40mph sag to something like a 4' vertical curve length. Any help is appreciated, and I have faith the ORD community will point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance, Michael
I ran a test in OpenRoads Designer 10.09.00.91 with a very high super rate and high speed on a sample geometry project I have. I Set a Design Standard on the horizontal and I see many warnings when I set it to use Stopping Sight Distance. Then, I open a profile model of that horizontal and run the 'Set Design Standard' and select the profile. I am getting a different symbol (error) on the vertical curves regarding different conflicts (i.e. "Crest is less than minimum, Design Standard Value = 384", where my crest curve parameter is 272.) So I am seeing it work on the vertical profile as well as the horizontal.
Perhaps the Civil Message center options are turning off the icons? Please see the response to the following forum question:

If you feel that it should be including some warnings, can you also attach a sample geometry DGN and your process to replicate? Can you verify the version of the product you are working with?

Thanks Chris, we are on 10.09.00.91 as well. Embarrassing to say, but it was simply "New User" error..... I had applied the Design Standard to the Horizontal correctly, but apparently not to the vertical. Once I got out of and back into the Profile View, and correctly applied the Design Standard to the Vertical alignment, the program gave me the expected errors/warnings.
Thanks for the quick reply.
