I started working on a project in Openroads Designer(OD) to pretty much create a profile and see how it would look with a basic template of my typical with my existing terrain, but now wanting to switch back to Power Geopak SS4 to complete the project because OD does not do that great at the little details. I wanting to Cut the cross sections(XS) of the corridor and be able to reference them into microstation where I can copy or compare to the microstation XS. Is there a way to do this.
Since Ss4/10 cuts cross section from the 3D files, you might be able to reference in the models from ORD but I doubt that Ss4/10 would recognize the surfaces for earthwork, nor the features for annotations.
You might need to use LandXML exports of Geometry and Terrain data to recreate the design data so the cross sections contain sufficient intelligence. Hopefully, you don't have to export all 3D features as alignments, but you might.
