Hi all, I have all these points in Autocad 2D DWG format with XYZ coordinates. Is it possible for me to create terrain using these point in ORD ?

Hi Joshua, thanks for your reply. I managed to extract the XYZ from autocad and create a text file for that. Then create terrain model from Ascci file. =)

I think there are 2 or more ways
1) you can plot just the elevations from a csv into ORD then use (create by text interpolation) under the terrain tab and additional methods)
2) Create a txt with XYZ and under same Terrain tab then additional methods use the (create terrain model from Ascci file)

You have a 2D file with XYZ? Is that not a 3D file? Can the XYZ be put into a text file, as that is one way of importing the points?
If you have the XYZ, then it should be possible to use them to create a terrain.
