The picture above shows that you are in the 3D model top view based on the view name, View 1 - Top - Default 3D-1.

You should be in the 2D model to pick the node. To verify this open up your view attributes for the view you are trying to select and verify under the Saved View area what Models is set to. The view that you are selecting the Node in should be the Default model, not Default-3D

It´s still not working. For the node it still gives me the same error even when all my references are turned off.

Try turning off the reference display of the 3D model that is attached to your 2D model. That will make it easier to pick the node from the 2D model. You wont have to worry about all the 3D model graphics of the node.
