Variable end conditions for cut ditches

I have a corridor template that has both variable fill sections and variable cut sections. The fill works just fine, but the cut does not work fully. When I test the template, it appears to be working, but does not fully display on the cross section explorer or in the 3D model. The cut/fill lines are moving accordingly, but the back slope is not wanting to display. 

I am using a null, "do not construct" point to dictate the low end of the variable slope.

Does anyone know the fix for this or have a different way a producing the variable slope to allow it to show in cross sections and the model?
