Hey all, I have been trying to get contours to display properly in my terrain model and the labels are not showing up correctly. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about doing this?
I have tried to go the Template route, and selecting "Existing Contours" template within my Terrain dgnlib - that didnt work all that well, as most of the outcome from various Text styles has been this:
And the route of "Label Terrain Contours", I have used standard as the Dimension Style and have gotten better results, applying contours manually, although I havent been able to get rid of the leader/terminator line. It would be nice to have an easy way to do this.
Does anyone know of the best way to go about adding contour labels? How do you label them?
Thanks in advance!
Have you tried editing the settings for the CalculatedFeatureSettings in the Element Template? You probably don't need 6 decimals of precision. You can also change the TextStyle used, contour spacing, level symbololgy, etc.

Hey Karl, thanks for the response! Haha - 6 decimal precision is a bit much, eh? ORD must of pulled this precision value from my Drawing Units/Resolution (or something), I'm assuming. Anyways, yeah I have been messing around with the Element Template settings but I haven't been able get a usable combination. Can you show what contour labeling is produced with your combination shown?
